    We are seeking a detail-oriented individual responsible for Instructional Design and robust LMS Administration. The Instructional Designer/LMS Administrator will work closely with the Implementations and Training Department’s Manager of Internal Training and Director of Training; and the Instructional Designer / E-learning Developer will focus on creating, deploying and maintaining instructionally sound e-learning courses; administering all aspects of the LMS, and supporting deployment of internal training programs. The primary focus is on making existing training on our software available to our customers (mainly healthcare clinicians) via an e-learning platform. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • LMS Administration- Implement and serve as administrator for all aspects of the LMS, including building and maintaining required reporting on training. Upload and test courses in LMS prior to assigning to clients. 
    • Product Expertise- Become an expert in our software and the healthcare industry so that training courses are highly relevant. 
    • Instructional Design- Apply proven instructional design methodology (e.g., ADDIE) and tools to design engaging, effective training. This includes all phases of process from needs and instructional analysis to evaluation. 
    • E-learning Development- Create and maintain software simulation e-learning courses and instructional videos using Adobe Captive and other tools. This includes developing storyboards, graphics and appropriate interactions; writing scripts; building quizzes/assessments; and getting feedback during an iterative development process. 
    • Consultant- Liaise with SMEs within department and across departments to determine course content, get feedback during development process so that deliverables are accurate and effective. 
    • IT Expertise- Act as SME for LMS, Adobe Captivate and other instructional technology tools. 
    • Project Management - Manage project schedules. Keep track of project tasks and status for multiple projects simultaneously, including third party vendor contractors. 
    • Team Player- Participate in team brainstorming and strategy meetings to help define goals and direction. Support training program execution, and user training, as needed. 


    REQUIREMENTS: 
    • Prior experience developing, implementing and evaluating content material of LMS, as well as experience using ISD models (e.g. ADDIE, etc.) 
    • 4 year degree, preferably in instructional design, education, technology or similar 
    • 1+ years’ experience administering LMS 
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience directly related to instructional development and/or instructional design 
    • Proven working experience in eLearning creation and deployment 
    • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models 
    • Lesson and curriculum planning skills 
    • Solid knowledge of course development software [Adobe Captivate] and at least one LMS 
    • Visual design skills (Photoshop, etc.) and ability to storyboard 
    • Ability to write effective audio/video scripts 
    • Proactive, results oriented with attention to detail 
    • Ability to quickly translate customer requirements into deliverables 
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and manage a fast-paced environment 
    • Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite: Captive, Photoshop, and an LMS 
    • Experience in healthcare preferred 
    • Experience in SaaS preferred 
    • Portfolio samples may be requested 
    • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time in peak periods
